Chandigarh: At the age of 55, Kawaljeet Kaur Gowara will be a mother once again after 26 years. And it will be twins this time, as she has undergone in-vitro fertilization successfully.

A resident of Panchkula, Kaur had lost her son last year in a road accident and she decided to be mother again at an age when fertility generally declines.

The decision was not easy for the family. “The loss of my son was hellish for us. So we decided to go for IVF. Our friends and relatives suggested that we do that,” she added. Continue reading →
